Alive & Kickin has embarked on their 16th season: “A&K Across the U.S.A.” highlights American artists from across the country in all its diversity and uniqueness, in its beauty and in the icky, ugly friction and fights that have brought us to, and will carry us through today. With music by Neil Diamond, Journey, Garth Brooks, Aerosmith, Semisonic, Whitney Houston, Cher, and more, Alive & Kickin’s ensemble and rockin’ band are about to take you on a cross-country ride for the ages. Get ready to hear the songs and personal stories of this well-traveled group of rockstars.
The full A&K cast, ages 60-91, rocks hearts and minds in their annual show at the Bloomington Center for Arts. With the support of community partners and funders like the City of Bloomington, the Minnesota State Arts Board and the James R. Thorpe Foundation, they have brought joy and inspiration through song and stories to over 25,000 families since 2010.
