Riffin' Griffin is a four-piece rock band for kids and families from Minneapolis, MN. Riffin’ Griffin is known for their energetic, audience engaging, participation-fueled live shows. Riffin’ Griffin has rocked schools, parks, libraries, hospitals, and even MPR’s Rock the Cradle. Riffin’ Griffin played 20 shows in Minnesota in the summer of 2025 with many more to come!
Riffin' Griffin started as a solo project by Jesse Norell, following his 2022 solo album Aorta Borealis, which gained attention from WCCO4 TV, Fox9, and Good Morning America. Jesse’s daughter, Alyssa, who inspired him to write Aorta Borealis after she survived two heart surgeries, also inspired him to start a band for kids. Whenever appropriate, the band likes to teach kids about inclusion, acceptance, and kindess to everone… especially those who don't fit the norm.
