Experience Art in Nature
Caponi Art Park (CAP) is a leading arts center in Dakota County and a hub for artists from across the Twin Cities to create and share their work with the community. Spanning 60 acres of wooded hills, CAP offers a unique blend of art and nature, providing an inspiring space to explore creativity, discover artwork, and connect with the environment.
With a mission to restore and nurture the human spirit through art, nature, and community, CAP believes in the transformative and healing power of the arts. We strive to make art and creativity accessible to everyone, fostering equity and inclusion through free or low-cost programming.
CAP’s robust education programs provide tours and workshops for over 2,500 participants of all ages and abilities each year. These offerings include school residencies, children’s programs, and programs for seniors and adults with cognitive disabilities. Whether exploring art through a hands-on workshop or engaging with nature on a guided sculpture tour, our programs are designed to spark imagination, deepen understanding of the arts, and build connections with the natural world.
Each year, over 12,000 visitors come to CAP for healthy, inspiring experiences, making it a premier destination for schools, community groups, and organizations seeking meaningful learning opportunities in a serene, creative setting.
Plan your field trip today and let Caponi Art Park bring art and nature to life for your group!
