SUMMARY:Young Makers Inventors Club
DESCRIPTION:Students will design and build their own projects in this four-week workshop. Each week will include new cardboard engineering concepts and practice with tool use\, as well as time spent on designing and working on individual projects in our makerspace\, with support and guidance from Bakken Museum educators and volunteer mentors. At the end of the four weeks\, friends and family are invited to our Big Show\, where students present their innovations and share their challenges and wins from the program. \n\n\n\nDATES: Four Saturdays | January 11 – February 1TIME: 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.COST: $200\, $180 for Household and Supporting members \n\n\n\nSCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLEAGES: 7-9 (grades 2-3)

SUMMARY:Bald Eagle Field Trip with National Eagle Center
DESCRIPTION:In the summer months\, you can see Bald Eagles nest along the river valley and feed their young from the plentiful fish of the Mississippi River. \n\n\n\nIn the winter months\, you can see hundreds more Bald Eagles migrate to find open water on the river. \n\n\n\nWhichever season you choose to visit\, you will experience an eagle adventure unlike any other.
