The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community’s (SMSC) Land and Natural Resources Department will share information about its efforts to protect water and host several family-friendly activities, including a water bar, augmented reality sandbox, and craft making.

From October 10-December 7, Hoċokata Ṫi is hosting the traveling exhibit We Are Water MN. Organized by the Minnesota Humanities Center, the free exhibit explores our connection to water through stories and experiences from communities throughout Minnesota—and invites visitors to contribute their own water stories. It will be open during Hoċokata Ṫi’s normal business hours (Wednesday-Saturday, 9am-4:30pm).
