Osprey Wilds offers a variety of seasonal outdoor education classes and workshops for K-12 overnight visits. Topics include wildlife, ecology, adventure education, and Minnesota culture & history. Choose from 30+ options to fit your curriculum needs!
Our mission is to instill a connection and commitment to the environment in people of all communities through experiential learning. Each class at Osprey Wilds is student-centered and nature-focused. We utilize learning groups with a small student-to-instructor ratio to insure that every child is supported in their learning.
Take our Creepy Crawly Creatures class this fall and let your students become herpetologists! Experience the world of icky, slippery, and often misunderstood reptiles and amphibians by going on a “Frog Hunt” and meeting our own crew of herps!
Experience the changing seasons in Forest Stories, where students learn about how to care for and manage a forest ecosystem. Complete a survey of one of the forests on our campus and work to discover what has made that ecosystem look how it does today.
We also offer Archery, Climbing Wall, and High Ropes courses that allow students to be brave as they soar to new heights. Our trained staff will support your class and facilitate team-building activies as students tackle these outdoor adventures.
Spend this fall outside at Osprey Wilds! Choose six classes as a part of your 3 day, 2 night visit. Learn more and read each class description on our website.
