Sounds of Blackness: Music for Martin- First staged at the Ordway in the 90’s, Music for Martin is a multimedia musical performance honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life, and the people keeping his legacy alive today. This spirited show features justice & joy, empowerment, and history through music–highlighting the Grammy winning Sounds of Blackness’ 50+ year history in the Twin Cities. Sounds of Blackness was one of the very first artists at the Ordway when we opened, and we joyfully welcome them back as we celebrate 40 years!
Performance Date: Friday February 20th 10AM; Recommended grades: 4th-12th
