Looking for field trips during these cold times? Book tickets to see a school performance at the Ordway!
Here are a couple of our school performances left for the rest of the year:
Bill Blagg and the Science of Magic:
For centuries, magicians have used scientific principles to make people levitate in mid-air and vanish in the blink of an eye. In The Science of Magic, illusionist Bill Blagg takes students on a rare, never-before-seen journey “behind the scenes” of the magic world. Performance dates & times: Thursday March 5th 10AM & 12:15PM. Recommended Grades: 1st-5th
Other school performances that will be presented at the Ordway are:
Syncopated Ladies Live:
Intricate footwork, life renewing energy, and a diverse cast showcase joy, empowerment, and the pursuit of dreams. More than entertainment, the show offers insights into tap history while inspiring the next generation and proving that with perseverance and unity, any dream is attainable. Performance date & times: Friday March 27th at 10:30AM. Recommended Grades: 4th- 12th
Collision of Rhythm:
Collision of Rhythm is a duo comprised of tap-dancing & classical virtuoso Aaron Williams, and beatbox & juggling musician Bronkar Lee. Together, they create a rhythm-centered experience—full of melodic movement and dynamic depth. With drumming, tap dancing, rhythmic juggling, marimba, piano, saxophone, flute, and more, they fill the stage like a 12-piece ensemble. Performance date & times: Wednesday April 15th at 10AM & 12PM. Recommended Grades: 4th-12th
