JUDY GARLAND MUSEUM | For Judy Garland & “Oz” Fans

We Welcome You To The Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, Minnesota! We love Active Boomers & offer tours of Judy Garland’s restored 1920’s childhood home & an eclectic Judy Garland & “Wizard of Oz” collection gathered over the last 40 years.


The Judy Garland Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that hosts thoughtfully curated exhibits and historical artifacts, including the original Carriage featured in “The Wizard of Oz,” a Dorothy Gale test dress worn by Judy Garland, and shoes Garland wore in “Meet Me in St. Louis” (1944). Come explore Judy Garland’s significant contributions to the performing arts as one of the greatest 20th-century entertainers through photographs, personal stories, movie posters, & more.

Planning Ahead: The Judy Garland Museum is open every Wednesday through Saturday 9am-5pm. Admission is $12/person. We offer a $1 discount for AAA members & a $1 discount for Veterans/Military ID. 
We are 3 hours north of the Twin Cities & can be a fun day trip or make it an overnight!  

Accessibility: Every part of The Judy Garland Museum is wheelchair accessible except for the 2nd floor of Judy’s childhood home. We are sorry for any inconvenience. People will often use FaceTime, Skype, or WhatsApp to video chat.

Annual June Festival: Judy Garland was born on June 10, 1922 & every June, we host an annual event celebrating our dear Judy. 2025 is the Festival’s 50th Anniversary! Save The Dates…June 19-22, 2025 with more details to come.
