An asphalt trail laid mostly on top of an abandoned railway makes up the Shooting Star Trail. Easy parking at the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center. Bike-friendly for all ages and abilities. Also, you can connect to the Austin City Bike Trails, for a total of over 40 miles of biking. While you are visiting Austin, take time to enjoy the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center and the Famous SPAM® Museum in downtown Austin. Both venues are FREE to visit.
