At Big Rock Creek, every season offers a fresh way to explore, play, and connect with nature. Our activities are designed to give students an unforgettable outdoor experience — whether it’s the heat of summer, the crisp colors of fall, the snowy magic of winter, or the fresh bloom of spring.
Summer Adventures
When the sun is shining, students can enjoy hiking trails, swimming, kayaks, paddle boats, and swim rafts. They can also visit our friendly animals, browse the gift shop, and relax in the picnic shelter at Frosty’s Food Court – all for just $10 per student.
Optional add-ons make the day even more exciting: wagon rides or a cow visit are available for $5 each, or enjoy both for $8. Hungry? Our lunch option is $7 per child and includes a choice of pizza slice, hot dog, or cold sandwich — served with chips, a fruit cup, and a fountain drink.
Fall Colors & Outdoor Fun
In autumn, students can take in the breathtaking fall foliage while exploring hiking trails, paddle boats, kayaks, and animal visits. The picnic shelter in Frosty’s Food Court is always ready for a cozy lunch break.
Winter Wonderland
When the snow falls, Frosty’s becomes a magical winter destination. Students can enjoy hiking trails, sledding and ice skating (both weather permitting), and warm up with animal visits, a gift shop trip, and time in the heated picnic space at Frosty’s Food Court.
