The American Swedish Institute is pleased to announce a new Youth & Family program: Homeschool Days. You’re invited to bring your homeschool community to ASI on the first Thursday of each month for an enlightening and fun morning of learning, with new programming each month. Come tour ASI’s exhibitions, explore traditional and modern Swedish arts and culture, and participate in handcraft workshops.

Swedish Celebrations Throughout the Year

Learn all about the many different holidays and celebrations observed in Sweden. Students will examine a variety of artifacts and learn how they are used for different occasions.
Tomte Tales: Legends of Winter–ASI’s 75th Annual Holiday Experience

Join an ASI educator as they take students on a tour of ASI’s annual holiday exhibition. Traverse the castle into a magical realm led by Tomte and all his friends!
Needle Felting Workshop

Learn all about the art of needle felting at ASI! Students will learn the basic techniques of needle felting to create art using wool and felt.
Each Homeschool Days event costs $20.95 ($15.95 ASI member) per student and includes museum admission. 1 adult is required for every five children. Fall/Winter Homeschool Days events are on sale now, and spring events will be available for registration beginning in January 2026. We look forward to hosting your homeschool community at ASI!
