Lab Tours: Dive deeper into the world of cancer research with guided visits to our labs led by esteemed researchers (available for students ages 12 and older, subject to researcher availability).

Career Panels: Discover the diverse range of careers in science through engaging discussions with our staff members (recommended for high school students and older, subject to researcher availability).

Hands-on Activities: Immerse yourself in interactive experiments and activities that bring science to life.

Witness Cutting-Edge Technology: See some of the cutting-edge equipment and technology used in research at The Hormel Institute, such as the powerful cryoEM Microscope.

To be in compliance with The Hormel Institute’s safety of minor policy, all groups must be accompanied by chaperones. The following ratios listed below must be followed during visits if not followed we may not be able to accommodate your group:

Ages 8 and under: 1 chaperone for every 8 students
Ages 9 to 14: 1 chaperone for every 10 students
Ages 15 and up: 1 chaperone for every 12 students
