The Minnesota Zoo is open year-round and is home to the Tropics Trail, the perfect winter escape. Walk the winding pathway through lush green foliage, moist humid air and enjoy hundreds of exotic rare animals from throughout the world. Experience a huge tropical reef filled with tropics fish, enjoy birds in our aviary and monkeys, giant lizards, lemurs and hundreds of animals all within the Tropics Trail. The Tropics Trail is open daily and included with zoo admission, plus is available for after-hours rental and private events.
