Welcome to Wabasha, MN – “Eagle Capital of America”
The National Eagle Center is a unique nature center and museum that brings you closer to eagles than you have ever been before and allows you to explore their connections to humans in nature, history, and cultures. From meeting our resident Eagle Ambassadors up close and attending daily programs to eagle-viewing river cruises, field trips and Behind the Scenes tours, our team of expert naturalist helps you enjoy a personalized eagle experience that you will never forget!
We’re home to several non-releasable Bald Eagles and a gathering place for hundreds of others that migrate to the Upper Mississippi River during the winter. Open year-round, we host school groups, tour groups, and adult learning groups, and also offer traveling outreach and virtual online programs.
