A local woman-owned business turns 26 years old this year and has more than 200 kayaks to show for it!

"We want to share our pure elation with all of our guests old and new so we are celebrating with a big thank you! We started out 26 years ago with 2 canoes and a 3 room bed and breakfast on the banks of the Kinnickinnic River in River Falls, Wisconsin. Over the years we grew and adapted to what the guests wanted and now we offer the full experiences of a boutique resort! Additionally, we have a fly-fishing shop (complete with guides), teaching lessons and guided fishing trips. The bed and breakfast has morphed into more of a full vacation rental with a fully furnished kitchen and outdoor patio with gas and charcoal grills.

The Kinnickinnic River watershed is characterized by scenic bluff lands, rare oak savanna, original prairie, farm land, white pine forest, wooded coulees, sedge meadows, rare and endangered plant species, beautiful stands of white pines and plenty of open space and scenic vistas. Its feeder creeks are cold and clean, containing wild native brown trout, important spawning areas, wetlands, and many springs arising from under picturesque limestone outcroppings.
