About the performance:
Ensamble 7/4 was born out of a friendship of seven young members of El Sistema (the National System of Youth & Children’s Orchestras of Venezuela), who came together to extend the boundaries of academic music to include Venezuelan folk music, Latin American music and jazz.
Ensamble 7/4’s engaging and entertaining show incorporates a unique and unusual format of 4 trumpets, double bass, Venezuelan cuatro and percussion with virtuous arrangements and choreographies specially and uniquely fashioned for them with a touch of humor thrown in for fun.
