Doubletree Leatherworks

Doubletree Leatherworks is a full time leather shop, passionate about leathercraft and wants to teach you how to make a leather project that showcases your individual personality. We offer a variety of hands-on workshops that involve using specialized metal tools to stamp a design into leather, some projects will teach you how to hand sew, some projects are completely from scratch and you will cut out your project, decorate, finish and assemble. All ages and a variety of abilities are able to participate. We travel to your location and provide all of the specialty tools, materials and instruction. If you are traveling to southeast Minnesota and are interested in booking a workshop while in the area please ask about our local classroom in close proximity to Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park (about 5 miles), Niagara Cave (less than 20 miles), Spring Valley Historical Society Museum (about 10 miles) and not too far from the Iowa border being just 5 miles east of Highway 63.

We are a SELCO library system vetted performer since 2021 and have really enjoyed sharing our leathercrafting workshops. Our workshops have also been held at museums such as the Spring Valley Historical Society and Historic Forestville, we've been to senior citizen centers, Fillmore County 4H groups, farmers markets and more.
